Pre-production for Iran animation ‘Blue Water Lily’ complete

Pre-production stage of Iranian animation ‘Blue Water Lily’ comes to an end.

Director for the short animation, Abolfazl Bayat, told the media on Thursday that the five-minute production of Iran Documentary & Experimental Film Center will be ready in the next three months.

The animated film centers around an association between love and the blue water lily.

Using chalk pastel art in production of the animation, the director noted that the film will be captured by 3D camera.  

The Documentary and Experimental Film Center (DEFC) is the main center for production, distribution and promotion of documentary, animated and experimental pictures in the Middle East.

DEFC is also actively involved in documentary co-production projects with international producers and TV channels.

DEFC provides film festivals, film markets, TV Channels, theaters, universities, institutes and other similar entities with the most recent Iranian documentary, animated, experimental and in some cases feature films.
